Vancouver — Vancouver-based Integra, a provider of fiber-based networking services, has completed its acquisition of opticAccess, expanding its geographic reach in major Western markets.

Regulatory approval of the deal gives Integra a presence with metro fiber in all major markets throughout the region, the company said. The acquisition adds 3,500 route miles to Integra’s network, including infrastructure in Seattle, some areas in Oregon, and in both California’s Bay Area and southern California, said Marc Willency, Integra’s CEO.

Integra has 1,500 employees and offices in 10 states. It serves customers in 35 cities in 11 states.
