PORTLAND — Court documents show that a movie theater company is suing over a disagreement about a parking lot at a Portland shopping mall.

The Oregonian reports that the lawsuit lists the defendants as Dallas-based Cypress Equities, which owns the property, and Portland Lloyd Community Center LLC, a company associated with Southern California developer Bob Bisno.

Bisno has said he plans to buy the site of Regal Lloyd Center 10 & IMAX and the adjacent parking lot and build a large development with parking for 873 cars.

Eastgate Theatre Inc., which lists Regal Entertainment Group’s corporate headquarters as its address, says it has 11 years left on its lease, which entitles it to have access to the parking lot.

An attorney for Eastgate declined to comment and phone calls to all companies involved were not returned.
