Two men were injured Saturday in a pickup crash that started when their trailer went out of control on state Highway 14 in Camas.

A bulletin from the Washington State Patrol said Cole A. Borden, 21, of Washougal was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup east on Highway 14 near Milepost 11 at about 12:30 p.m. when a trailer he was towing began to oscillate behind him.

The movement caused the pickup to go out of control, veer into a concrete barrier on the left shoulder and then veer back across the highway and into a ditch, according to the WSP. The pickup was totaled.

Borden and a passenger, Anthony J. Grable, 21, of Camas were both injured and were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

Borden was in satisfactory condition Saturday evening, according to a hospital official. Information on Grable was not available.
