I happened upon this passage from Adolf Hitler’s biography, “Mein Kampf.” It rings as true today as it did during Hitler’s dictatorship of Germany. It sounds like it is taken right out of the book “Rules for Radicals.”
“… The receptive powers of the masses are very restricted and their understanding is feeble. All effective propaganda must be confined to a few bare essentials and those must be expressed as far as possible in stereotyped formulas. These slogans should be persistently repeated until the very last individual has come to grasp the idea that has been put forward …”
For me, this brings thoughts of climate change, rants about capitalism, anti-gun rants, to name a few.
