Vancouver police look to identify two people who allegedly stole a purse belonging to one of the owners of a local tire shop.

A theft was reported at 4:37 p.m. Monday at Vancouver Tires & Wheels Shop, 10317 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. A male and female entered the store and swiped the purse, which contained the owner’s identification, credit cards and over $2,000, Vancouver police said.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspects and the car they were driving, possibly a 1992 to 1998 blue Volkswagen Jetta, police said.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department’s tip line at 360-487-7399 and reference case number 15-7192.
