MANSFIELD — A new wildfire has been reported burning in central Washington, south of the small community of Mansfield.
The Washington state Emergency Management agency said late Monday night that it has approved state resources to help fight the fire, estimated to have burned more than 3 square miles.
No state spokesperson was immediately reachable for questions about the fire.
There was no indication that any homes were threatened.
