Washougal Mayor Sean Guard worked with community members and Rose Festival organizers to put together this ladybug mini-float for Saturday’s Portland Rose Festival Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade.
Washougal’s will be one of four mini-floats in the parade this year. Look for it about two-thirds of the way through the two-hour parade, which steps off at 10 a.m.
As per its tradition, Battle Ground has entered the only full-sized community float this year. Battle Ground’s float will appear about a quarter of the way through the parade, which is televised on KPTV-TV, channel 12.
