SEATTLE — Jeff Teper, Microsoft’s former head of corporate strategy, will return to the Office division he left a year ago.
Teper, a longtime Office executive, shifted last year to corporate vice president of strategy. In April, he moved to Kurt DelBene’s team when that former Microsoft executive returned to the company to lead corporate strategy and planning. Teper spent much of his earlier career as an executive leading the Sharepoint collaboration platform and, later, the Office 365 Web-based version of Microsoft’s productivity suite.
In his new role, Teper will report to Rajesh Jha, the corporate vice president who oversees Outlook and Office 365, a Microsoft spokeswoman said.
