Republicans have the majority in both chambers and must now go to work as they have been sitting on their hands while President Obama has been in office. Their first big move is the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline. The second issue is the Republicans want to move swiftly to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
The Keystone XL pipeline would create some jobs while it is being built across the United States, but after being built and the sludge starts coming through that pipeline who benefits, and who assumes the liability?
The second issue is that the Affordable Care Act being repealed with nothing to take its place will certainly cause major medical problems for millions, and possibly cause the deaths of thousands. Other countries have medical coverage, but we don’t and why is that? If the Affordable Care Act is repealed by the Republicans then members of my family will be put at medical care risk without medical coverage. I personally feel all of us in these United States deserve to at least have the same medical coverage that our politicians have.
So put the medical coverage for your constituents first, or next time I will vote for anyone who will.
