The owners of a camera found among stolen property have been located, the Vancouver Police Department reported.
Earlier this week, detectives asked for the public’s help locating the people pictured in photos that were on a digital camera found among numerous stolen items during the execution of a search warrant of a vehicle, according to police.
The owners saw media coverage and contacted police, telling them that the camera had been stolen several years ago, police reported.
The family “will be reuniting with the camera and all the family photos they thought were gone forever,” police said in a news release.
