Nonprofit award finalists announced

The Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washington announced the finalists for this year’s Nonprofit Excellence Awards.

• Finalists for the excellence in volunteer program are Fort Vancouver Regional Library and the Humane Society for Southwest Washington in the category for over 500 volunteers. In the under 500 volunteers category, finalists are Battle Ground HealthCare’s free clinic and the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center.

• The excellence in community support award nominees are The Columbian and Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar.

• YouthBuild Vancouver, a collaboration of Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council, Partners in Careers, Vancouver Housing Authority, WorkSource and Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, is one of the finalists for the excellence in collaboration award. The other finalist is Refuel Washougal, whose partners include the City of Washougal, the Washougal School District, 211info, Unite! Washougal, Washougal Excelsior High School, Inter-Faith Treasure House, Bethel Community Church, Living Purpose Church, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Calvary Community Church of Camas, River Rock Church, St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Washougal United Methodist Church, Salmon Falls Chapel, Parkside Church and St. John’s Presbyterian Church.

• The Clark County Habitat for Humanity ReStore won the excellence in impact award.
