Vancouver seeks to fill Parking Advisory Committee spot

The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Parking Advisory Committee. Applications are due in the city manager’s office July 18.

The seven-member volunteer committee advises the City Council and city staff on parking policy and program implementation. Committee members must be city residents, property owners, business owners or an officer or partner in a business located in the downtown area. One member may be an employee of a downtown business. The committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall or as scheduled, January through October. From November through December the committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 a.m.
