• The Clark County commissioners seek to fill three positions on the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board by people with expertise in or experience with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Members serve three-year terms and meet at 5 p.m. the first Wednesday of every other month.

To apply, send a letter of interest and résumé to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, 98666, or email Jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov. The application deadline is Jan. 31.

• The Clark County commissioners seek to fill one position on the three-member panel that oversees Drainage Improvement District No. 5. Applicants must be property owners within the district, which includes the area bounded roughly by Northeast 132nd Avenue on the west, 99th Street on the south, 182nd Avenue on the east and 149th Street on the north. They must be registered voters in the state of Washington.

Drainage improvement district commissioners have authority to purchase property, enter into contracts, and conduct business as needed to maintain and operate drainage systems. They are elected or appointed for staggered terms of six years.

To apply, submit a letter of interest and résumé to the Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, 98666, or to the board’s office on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, fax to 360-397-6058, or email boardcom@clark.wa.gov.

The application deadline is Jan. 31.

• The Clark County commissioners seek to fill three positions on the Emergency Medical Services Administrative Board. Board members are selected for their expertise in specific professional disciplines required in the development and oversight of the emergency ambulance service. The vacant positions are in the areas of health care administration, business and law.

The board normally meets from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of January, February, May, June September, October and November.

The application deadline is Jan. 31.

• The city of Battle Ground seeks to fill one position on the Park Advisory Board. The board makes recommendations to city council regarding the acquisition, control, improvement, and planning of all city public squares and recreation facilities. Members must reside in, or own property or a business in, Battle Ground or within the city’s urban growth boundary. Members serve three-year terms and meet monthly on Tuesday evenings.To apply, submit an application, which is available online at cityofbg.org/BandCapplication, at City Hall, 109 S.W. First St., Battle Ground, or at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 East Main St.
