Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt will give the State of the City address at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Fort Vancouver High School, 5700 E. 18th St.

The event will be in the school’s auditorium. Doors will open by 8:30 a.m., according to a city news release issued Wednesday.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted for the Clark County Skills Center Foundation.

Light refreshments will be served by students from the Clark County Skills Center.

Leavitt, a 1989 graduate of Fort, has titled the address “Our Vision. Our Legacy. Our Vancouver.”

While the event is free, the city would like to have an idea of how many people will attend. Please RSVP by March 10 to CityHallRSVP@CityofVancouver.us.

The event will air on CVTV, Comcast channels 21 and 23. It will be streamed live on www.cvtv.org.
