Letter: Vancouver library is top notch

The Columbian
Published: April 23, 2013, 5:00pm

Our hats are off to the city of Vancouver and its residents for the beautiful new library building in downtown.

We were enticed to head over the Interstate 5 bridge and experience it when we sat in on the #nextchapter series of workshops from Dene Grigar (of Washington State University Vancouver) and the Fort Vancouver Regional Library that ran for the past couple of months. It ended with a stimulating presentation and conversation with Douglas Rushkoff, author of “Program or Be Programmed.”

We love our North Portland Kenton Library but have to say Vancouver’s main building is tops.
