A head-on crash near Battle Ground sent two women to the hospital Monday morning.

The crash was reported at 25411 N.E. 92nd Ave. just before 10:30 a.m., according to emergency dispatch logs. Few details were available.

Lisa Brown, 52, of La Center was traveling east on Manley Road and following a turn to the south when she lost control of her car, crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle driven by Bonny Dolly, 57, of Battle Ground, said Sgt. Fred Neiman, sheriff’s spokesman.

Slick road conditions probably played a role in the crash, said Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy, with Clark County Fire & Rescue.

The women were sent to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center as a precaution because of the type of crash, and they were not listed as patients late Monday night.

Both women were wearing seat belts and were the only people in each vehicle. The cars were towed from the scene.

Clark County Fire & Rescue, American Medical Response and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded.
