Since 2002, Inez Burns, right, has been wearing her red hat and waving Old Glory in East Vancouver on Sept. 11.

Sunday’s 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States was no different as Burns and 24 other members of the Red Hat Society waved flags from the Ninth Street-Interstate 205 overpass Sunday morning.

Burns said it is the society’s way to remember those who lost their lives 10 years ago.
