An orthopedic surgeon at Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery was awarded the 2011 Patients’ Choice Award by vitals.com.

This marked the fourth consecutive year Dr. Doug Musgrave received the award.

Vitals.com grants to award to physicians who have received near perfect scores as voted by their patients. Out of the nation’s 720,000 active physicians, only 5 percent received the honor in 2011.

Musgrave specializes in disorders of the hands, wrists and arms. He is one of the four hand surgeons in Rebound’s Hand Center.

Musgrave is a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, earning a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand.

He has also conducted research involving bone regeneration, biomechanics and clinical results, authoring more than 25 articles and chapters.
