A 64-year-old man who left his home at 4 a.m. Monday has been located in Seattle, Vancouver police announced in a press release.

Robert Grainger is “somewhat disoriented but safe,” according to the release. His family will connect with him shortly. Grainger has been hospitalized and is being evaluated.

He apparently left his pants and other clothing on a hook and left wearing only a dark T-shirt and his white boxer undershorts at about 4 a.m. He may be suffering from an as-yet-unidentified medical problem, or possibly the effects of recent shoulder surgery.

Grainger’s home is in the 16600 block of Southeast 34th Way in Fisher’s Landing.

The Vancouver Police Department thanked the public and volunteers for helping in the search for Grainger.
