The Vancouver office of Penguin Windows won’t see layoffs “at this time,” a representative of the company said Thursday.

However, the company will lay off 210 employees at its sites in Lynnwood, Mukilteo and Lakewood, according to a federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification issued Thursday.

The layoffs were effective Feb. 1, according to the notice.

The residential window company has closed operations at three of its offices, including its Mukilteo headquarters. The company’s other shuttered locations are Lakewood and Boston, Mass.

An estimated 170 workers are based at the Vancouver site.
