A reported crash had traffic on Interstate 5 stacked up for several miles Thursday morning, with the backup continuing from North Portland across the Interstate Bridge and into Vancouver.

The crash occurred near the I-5 split with Interstate 405 in Portland, and the resulting backup had traffic stopped in places around 9:45 a.m. By 10:20 a.m., traffic cameras showed continued congestion on I-5 near the state Highway 14 interchange in Vancouver and at Mill Plain Boulevard.

UPDATE: Traffic cameras showed the backup had mostly cleared in Vancouver just before 11 a.m., though slow spots remained in parts of North Portland.
