LIBERTY LAKE — Itron Inc. and Lockheed Martin announced Wednesday they are bringing their smart-grid technologies together to reduce the cost, complexity and risk for utilities to install smart meters.
The companies will integrate Lockheed Martin’s SEEload command and control software with Itron’s OpenWay and Meter Data Management smart metering software for utilities. Liberty Lake-based Itron operates offices in Vancouver and several other locations throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.
