State agency revokes adult home’s license
Saturday, July 19, 2008 By The Columbian staffThe Washington Department of Social and Health Services has stopped admissions and revoked the license of M&M Silver Years, a privately operated Vancouver adult family home at 14526 N.E. Powers St.
The facility is licensed to Maria Keesee. While the home is not permitted to take new residents, current residents may stay in the home pending completion of the appeal and inspection process over the next 28 days.
Licensing violations related to tuberculosis testing for a staff member, residents’ privacy issues, involuntary seclusion of residents in evening hours and protection from unwanted physical touching.
