A Popeyes restaurant and a Burger King are proposed as the newest additions to an east Vancouver project where Lowe’s Home Improvement and JC Penney stores are under construction.

The Popeyes would be the first Vancouver location for the Atlanta-based fried chicken chain, which is owned by AFC Enterprises Inc. Burger King operates six Clark County locations.

The new fast-food outlets are planned for side-by-side locations on the southwest corner of Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast 191st Avenue in the Mill Plain Crossing retail development.
