Are you ready for the hottest day of the year?

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Vancouver-Portland metro area today, calling for temperatures to reach the mid 90s.

The high for Vancouver is expected to be 94 today and 92 tomorrow. Sunny skies are predicted for both days.

How about the Fourth of July? Temperatures will cool to a sizzling 91 for the festivities.
