"A dramatic warm up is expected to take place beginning Wednesday of this week, with the warmest weather of the year so far expected Thursday and Friday," the weather statement said.
Today's high is predicted to be 89, with Thursday and Friday's temperatures expected to climb into the low to mid 90s. Sunny skies are in the forecast.
The sizzling weather should stick around for the Fourth of July, with a high of 90 and mostly sunny skies predicted.

Water your lawns, people . . . lots of fires will be started when fireworks meet dry vegetation.I also predict lots of other social problems as we mix hot temperatures, big holiday parties, and alcohol.
