Seattle cleaning 12,000 tons of sand from streets

The city of Seattle is cleaning up 12,000 tons of sand that were spread on streets during the holiday snow storm.

The city has 10 street sweeping machines at work.

The city Transportation Department told The Seattle Post-Intelligencer all the streets should be swept clean by Jan. 21.
