The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.



In November, the Nursing Commission charged licensed practical nurse Patricia A. Viles. She allegedly administered insulin to a patient without confirming the proper dosage. The patient died later that evening from insulin administration.

In November, the Nursing Assistant Program suspended the credential of Angela M. Uruo. Uruo failed to comply with a previous order.
