Lisa Brown, an independent distributor for STEMTech HealthSciences, has been promoted to a position on the senior director level. Brown is a La Center resident.
Dr. Jennifer Vines is the new deputy health officer for Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania and Wahkiakum counties. The position was created after health officials in those counties decided a regional approach to health officer services would ensure greater consistency in disease prevention and control.
Dave Griffin is the new director of sales and marketing at Skamania Lodge, the mountain resort in the Columbia River Gorge. Griffin, who lives in Stevenson, has 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Roger Hinshaw, Oregon and Southwest Washington president for Bank of America, has been appointed to the Portland Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco effective Jan. 1. The board of directors provides the region’s economic perspective to the Federal Reserve Bank’s district board of directors in San Francisco and the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Joseph Badolato and Julee Karcz, a physicians assistant, have joined the Hudson’s Bay Medical Group, 100 E. 33rd St., No. 206. They specialize in internal medicine, family practice and gastroenterology. Before joining the Hudson’s Bay group, Badolato was at Family Physicians Group Salmon Creek.
Tully’s Coffee Shop opened its second store in Vancouver this month at 1801 S.E. 164th Ave. Tully’s, founded in 1992, has become the third largest company-owned specialty coffee retailer in the United States.
Lacamas Community Credit Union broke ground in Stevenson for its sixth branch office. The Stevenson branch is scheduled to open in mid-2009.
Washougal Sport & Spine Physical Therapy opened in mid-November. The locally owned clinic is in Washougal Town Square, 1700 Main St., Suite 222. There is an open gym area with a full range of cardio and strengthening equipment for rehabilitation, as well as several treatment rooms.
