A street of luxury homes near Monroe that was hit by arson in March is slow to recover.
Of the three homes that were destroyed only one is being rebuilt and the owner expects the price will be 20 to 30 percent less.
The Seattle Times reports the only home in the Quinn's Crossing development to sell is the one that was merely damaged in the arson claimed by the Earth Liberation Front.
The development promoted green building practices. That was mocked in a sign left at the scene condemning "McMansions" in a rural area. It was signed ELF.
The arson remains unsolved. Federal agents are investigating.
The developer hasn't sold any lots in the subdivision since the fire, but says that's also due to the credit and mortgage crisis.
